“Sheriff for the People”

Pat Mooney has been married to his wife, Debbie, for 41 years and has three children and 2 grandchildren. He has been a New Mexico resident for 38 years. Pat served his community in law enforcement for over 34 years in addition to his military service.

Sandoval County Mission

To actively fight crime, drugs and gangs with our county partners; To lead community based support & be proactive ambassadors in the community; To fully staff the Sheriff’s Office with more Officers on the street; and to transition back to normal and “support law enforcement”.
